This privacy policy explains how V & S Innovations (Pty) Ltd ("V&S Innovations", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information on the medicater.co.za website, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
This policy covers the marketing website only. Personal information processed inside the MediCater platform (for example patient meal orders) is processed on behalf of the hospitals and caterers who use the platform, under their agreements with us and their own privacy policies.

What information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit our demo request or contact form, or subscribe to blog updates, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, organisation, email address, phone number and message.
- Usage information. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or demo request and follow up about MediCater.
- To send you blog and product updates, if you subscribed (you can opt out at any time).
- To improve the website and our marketing.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement. Google may set cookies in your browser for this purpose. See Google's privacy policy.
- FormSubmit — relays contact form submissions to our mailbox. See FormSubmit's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including serving this site over HTTPS and restricting access to enquiry details to the people who need them.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to processing or withdraw consent.
